Dustin has owned two successful salons and has recently formulated the D’Shaw Professional hair color line. Dustin has also educated across the country for such national brands as Framesi Color and Primary Synergy Hair color. His experience has earned him the title of “Expert Witness” and he has served in national court cases involving topics in cosmetic chemistry. He is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Dustin is an active participant in the modern beauty industry and enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with the students enrolled at D’Shaw Institute of Cosmetology.
Nathan brings experience in business expertise and customer service to the classroom. With over a decade behind the chair, Nathan has served as a Stylist Advisor for ISO corp (Innovative Styling Options) and was hand selected by TIGI as a colorist for their Creative Force educational team. With these duties, he has traveled the west coast offering training to professionals in the beauty industry. Nathan currently maintains a massive clientele at his salon “The Electric Chair” where they have received top recognition from national magazines Elle and In Touch Weekly as being among the top of their field. This expertise is shared at the Institute.
Ren brings a strong technical approach in hair cutting to the institute. During his 10 plus years of experience, Ren has had the opportunity to attend many advanced training course from Vidal Sassoon, Toni&Guy, and others. While maintaining a broad client base, he spent 3 years as a guest artist for Sexy Hair Concepts, as well as 3 years as a TIGI Artistic Team member. Ren’s resume also includes Co-owner of the Electric Chair Salon in Boise with brother Nathan, salon ownership in Salt Lake City, Utah, and possibly more down the road. Ren’s weekly haircut demonstrations to the students offers detailed insights to classic and modern haircuts as well as contemporary and progressive looks.
